Leyes y Finanzas, is a law firm specialized in business, corporate and finance laws in El Salvador, Central America. Our dynamic and innovative team focuses in providing clients, in an efficient and prompt manner, with high quality legal advice that best maximizes their interests.

The firm was created in 1978 as a partnership, and it was incorporated in 1996, as Rodriguez, Zelaya y Asociados, S.A. de C.V. In mid-2006 we changed our name to Leyes y Finanzas, S.A. de C.V., a name that in the Spanish Language means “Law and Finance”, and which better describes our main areas of practice.

The firm offers legal advice and representation in various areas of the business and corporate Salvadorian laws such as banking law, insurance law, securities regulation, tax law, foreign investment, international commerce, civil and labor law. We have fused our knowledge in law, business, and finance, to provide an integral service to satisfy the most complex needs of our clients in a precise and efficient manner.

Our activities range from legal representation in business litigation to providing legal advisory services to the Salvadorian government on sovereign debt through notes issues in the international capital markets. One of our main goals is acting always with a great sense of responsibility and professionalism in every transaction with each and every one of our clients.
